The Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), RCC Bauchi, today marked a historic milestone with the official dedication of its Ultra-Modern Hospital by the COCIN President, Rev. Dr. Amos Mozo.

The event attracted a large gathering of dignitaries, including clergies, politicians, government officials, and various church sub-groups within RCC Bauchi, all of whom came to witness what has been described as a landmark achievement in the church’s mission to serve humanity.
The hospital project, which began as a vision in 2019 under the leadership of Rev. Yohanna Daniel Gamu and the RCC Bauchi Executive Council, has now become a reality after years of planning, sacrifice, and financial commitment. The idea was conceived alongside a proposed School of Midwifery and Nursing, with the hospital taking priority.

Despite early challenges, including the loss of an initially secured property due to a transaction setback, the church remained resolute. A new site was eventually acquired within Bauchi metropolis, and following thorough evaluation by a medical committee, renovation and equipping of the facility commenced.
The project, fully funded by RCC Bauchi, involved the purchase of the property, structural modifications, and procurement of modern medical equipment and drugs. Today, the hospital stands as a testament to faith, perseverance, and collective effort.

Speaking during the event, the Youth RCC Leader, Bro. Alfred Israel, described the project as a great success. He emphasized the importance of the church owning a healthcare facility, noting that such an initiative not only meets the physical needs of the community but also reflects the practical expression of Christian love and service. According to him, the hospital will serve as a vital platform for both medical outreach and spiritual impact.
The dedication ceremony was filled with gratitude and celebration, as attendees acknowledged the sacrifices and commitment of the church leadership and members who made the project possible.

As the doors of the COCIN Ultra-Modern Hospital officially open, expectations are high that it will significantly improve access to quality healthcare in Bauchi and its surrounding communities, while also reinforcing the church’s role in holistic development.
