She came with a costly alabaster jar, not to impress the crowd, but to honor the One who could transform her life. The jar was broken, the perfume was poured out, and tears flowed freely. While others saw waste, Jesus saw worship.
Sometimes, God allows what is precious to be broken so that what is hidden within can be released. The fragrance of the oil was not revealed until the alabaster jar was broken. In the same way, there are dimensions of God's grace, humility, and devotion that are only revealed through brokenness.
Do not despise the seasons that have left you in tears. Heaven often receives the worship that earth misunderstands. The tears you have cried in God's presence have not been ignored. Every act of sincere devotion is remembered by Him.
There are people who will criticize your passion for God. They will call your sacrifice unnecessary and your commitment excessive. But when your worship is directed to Christ, you are not seeking the applause of people—you are honoring the King.
Bring your broken heart to Jesus. Bring your tears, your disappointments, your fears, and your hopes. He still welcomes those who come to Him with genuine faith.
Your brokenness can become the doorway to healing. Your surrender can become the beginning of restoration. And the fragrance of a life fully yielded to Christ will touch generations.
"She has done a beautiful thing to Me." — Mark 14:6
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I pour out my life before You. Break every pride, fear, and self-reliance within me. Let my worship be pure, my heart be humble, and my life become a sweet fragrance that brings glory to Your name. Amen
